Bore Rig Operator/Locator
Experienced in operating or locating for a Directional Bore Machine. We currently utiliize DigiTrak electronics
Experience with Utility placement in Public Right of Way and experience with any and all type of construction equipment are to be considered a plus and will be considered when determining starting pay rate.
Must be able to perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time; work in extreme weather conditions; withstand constant vibration from equipment; climb in and out of trenches; lift 50 lbs; understand oral and written instructions.
This is a safety sensitive position. May require travel, overtime and some weekends.
Transportation to out of town jobsites provided.
While performing the position Equipment Operator, it is occasionally necessary to bend, squat, kneel, balance.
It is frequently necessary to reach above shoulder level, crouch, push/pull equipment.
It is frequently necessary to climb up to 6 feet. In an 8 hour day, the employee can expect to sit about 4 hours and to stand about 3 hours.
The employee would occasionally be required to carry loads up to and including 100 lbs. and the employee would frequently be required to carry loads up to and including 50 lbs.
The employee would occasionally be required to lift loads up to and including 100 lbs. and the employee would frequently be required to lift loads up to and including 50 lbs.
The job requires repetitive movement of both feet. Simple grasping with both hands is necessary. Fine manipulation with both hands is necessary. Firm grasping with both hands is necessary.
The position requires being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature/humidity, driving automotive equipment, exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
